There was no cloud in the blue sky which was growing light. It was mild and ideal day for skiing and snowboarding. Since it was the first day of three-day weekend, top of the mountain was crowded from morning. Two people from Yokohama, Kanagawa gave me the watchword, “We always see your reports.” They said, “We will enjoy spring skiing for two days!”

South Slope was well-compacted and corn snow was nicely firm. So, edges of my skis worked well, and I could turn as I wanted. I saw advanced skiers skiing down and turning sharply. While it was wide, many tracks appeared in a short time because it was the main slope of Iwatake.

On the other hand, tracks of Pistein were left for a long time on East Slope, where a few people were skiing in the morning. It was also well-compacted and nice. I could enjoy skiing with speed.

As I skied down to the foot of the slope, the surface of snow was melting. Condition in the shade was different from condition in the sun, however, there was no problem to skiing. By the way, 80% of No.1 Parking Lot got full around 9:30.
