It was a weekend, so the slope was so crowded around 10:00 am. There was 4~5 minutes of waiting line at Gondola Sanroku Station. As the clouds which had covered the sky in the morning cleared, the blues sky began to appear. Also, there was no wind. So, it was an ideal day for skiing. A group from Tokyo told me, “I enjoy your reports every day!”. The group of eleven said they became acquainted with each other through SNS.

At VIEW C・D, which opened later, the tracks of Pistein remained for a while. They were nicely firm with powder snow. Some places in shadow were firm, however, they were good for skiing and snowboarding on the whole. Advanced snowboarders, who were from Omachi and Matsumoto in Nagano Prefecture, were enjoying snowboarding.

Around 11:00 am, the number of people were increasing, and snow started melting at South Slope and Gezan Course. As I skied down Sunny Valley Course, I felt differently. However, there was no problem with skiing. On the contrary, turning became easier because the slope became softer.

Last division “the Alpen ski” at Students Competition is going to be held from today, Mar. 12 (only the opening ceremony will be held), to March. 18 (Sat). At Big Bahn, which was open, members of Santa Ski Club of Shibaura Kogyo University told me, “of course, our goal is to win the first prize!”. They also told me, “there are more skiers, because other members and clubs were having lunch”.
