Iwatake / ◎230cm / Snowy2017.Mar.08

17030801_iwatakeWe have had cold days untypical of March and the frosted trees were beautiful today as well. The soft sunlight was cast into Mountain Side in the morning, but the summit area was covered with snow clouds. When VIEW Course was open, people skied into there for powdery snow one after another.
[VIEW C]
17030802_iwatakeThere was 20-30cm fluffy snow in Hill Top!! However, the slope under the fresh snow was icy. It was in difficult condition for beginners, but experts were going down smoothly with straight lines.

17030803_iwatakeMore and more people came from Kamo 4 to SONEZAWA and Sawa Course after 9:00 a.m. 3 people from Yamanashi Pref. said, “Today was a so fine day!” with a smile. Because of the facing direction of the slope or the wind, the slope was not so hard and we could enjoy powdery snow fully!!
[SONEZAWA]
17030804_iwatakeBesides, White Ribbon Course, an expert course in Village Side, was in much better condition than I expected. The groomed slope was icy and covered with 10cm fresh snow, but there was 30cm fresh snow in the ungroomed areas.
