It was chilly under the influence of atmospheric pressure pattern in winter. Small snowflakes were falling at the upper part of the ski area. Mountain Side was covered in fog and cold gentle wind was blowing from the northwest early in the morning.

The slope of East was well-groomed and nicely firm with 2~3 cm light fresh snow on. As the fog started to clear, visibility became better and I could enjoy skiing comfortably. It was in so good condition that I wanted to ski here again and again.

Anyway, frosted trees were wonderful at the middle to upper part of the ski area. Especially, the trees at the summit area were covered in white and shrouded in the fog and it was marvelous view early in the morning. Though only 3 weeks are left till the end of the season, the amount and quality of snow is very good.

The slopes of Gezan and South were firm, however, about 2 cm of fresh snow on the slope worked as a good buffer and it was nice to ski. As I skied down to Sunny Valley and Paradise, the slope became softer.
