We had a fine day with the warm sunlight. Today is the second day of “Village Mayor’s Cup Ski Competition & Male Alpen Division Preliminary” and the goal area in front of White Plaza was filled with excitement. I met a group of VOGEL R.S.C, Nishogakusya University in Tokyo, and they said, “We have a possibility of being awarded now, depending on the result today.”

The division of Super Giant Slalom was held in Kamoshika Racing Course. In Big Bahn next to the course, I saw students practicing skiing hard toward “Demo Skiing Devision” on Feb. 26 (Sun). The flat and firm slopes were getting melting because of the warm weather and sunlight.

4-sen East was late for the opening because of the safety check and it was open at 8:30 a.m. East was groomed well and nicely firm. All of the slope was covered with beautiful corduroy patterns.

The great peaks of Northern Alps made an awesome contrast with the blue sky. The view fascinated people and I found they taking pictures of the mountains one after another. The wide slope of South was also groomed finely and edges of my skis worked well.
