The fog covered Mountain-side sometimes in the early morning. The weather recovered after that and at around 11 a.m. the fog disappeared. But the strong chill continues and though no wind was blowing, it was cold.

Every items of IWATAKE LOVE SNOW PARK were well maintained today, too. The run was nicely firm powdery snow and it was easy to challenge. Many experts were making the splendid jumps at 10 m Kicker in last part of the course.

Widely groomed slopes of South and Gezan were also nicely firm and I could ski comfortably. After Feb. 7, all areas of Iwatake Snow Field were kept in a good powdery condition.

Every groomed slopes of Village-side were flat and in a powdery condition and it was very easy to ski. At Up Bahn and Big Bahn, the students were practicing hard for the competition. And the first competition, “Village Mayor’s Cup (Male & Female), Alpen Male Preliminary” will start from tomorrow (Feb.14 – 17).
