Toward the student ski competition on Feb. 14 (Tue), I found many student in Village Side in this morning. Students from Snow Panther, Kyoto University, greeted me and gave me the watchword. Thank you for your posing as well!!

In Big Bahn, 3 people such as Mr. Satoh (Myoko Region Ski Club) who was in the 6th prize last year came and gave a lessons to Salomon Student Team (Mr. Satoh is one in the red Jacket, one in the green and in the blue are from Hosei University and Niigata University). It was overcast with no wind in the lower areas and the slopes were nicely firm.

When I climbed up to Mountain Side, it was lightly snowing and the groomed slopes were covered with 1cm fresh snow. Especially, Sawa Course, a groomed slope facing the north, was nicely soft, so I could ski comfortably there.

Gezan Course, Sunny Valley Course and Paradise were nicely firm and good to ski with high speed. 5 people from Kanagawa Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” Skiing down from the top to bottom by the gondola is highly recommended in the morning on weekdays.
