Iwatake / ◎170cm / Cloudy2017.Jan.25

17012501_iwatakeThe thick fog over the mountain broke up and the sun started to cast the sunlight after the ski area was open. The temperature was still low, -7.5 degrees, but it did not blow a wind. When I got off the gondola, the beautiful groomed runs with corduroy pattern jumped into my sight and a lot of people directly skied into South and Gezan Course.

17012502_iwatakeThe well-groomed slopes of Gezan Course and Sunny Valley Course were in fine condition!! My skies ran well and edges worked well, so I could make turns as I imagined.

17012503_iwatake“We have been really eager to come to Iwatake after a heavy snowfall!”, people from Omachi and Azumino City said to me. After that, 5-sen South started the operation and I met generally beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders there.

17012504_iwatakeNot only Sunny Valley Course, but also Paradise and Kometsuga were also flat and in good condition. In such a day like today, I thought it would be good to ski in the lower areas again and again by Kamo 1 (903 m) and Paradise Triple (677 m).
