This is the report of Apr. 11 (Sun) when we had a sunny day. “Hakuba Happo Super Vertical Race” was held from 9:30 a.m. and this race had a gap of 800 meters in height from Usuba Rest House to Riesen Slalom, Usagidaira (Photo), Riesen Grat and Happo-ike Sanso Hut. By the way, the best time of this time was 38 minutes and 11 seconds.

Spring Fes was also started at 11:00 a.m. at Usagidaira Terrace with Ms. Uemura Aiko (Right on Photo), an ex-freestyle mogul skier, and Ms. Kondo Kokone (Left on Photo, joined online), a member of the Japan National Team of free skiing slopestyle. They talked about the experience of torch bearing, overseas competitions under this coronavirus situation and so on.

After the talk show of them, a lottery event which offered big gifts like snowboards, clothes and helmets was held. Ms. Uemura called the numbers, but people try not to make loud voices because of this situation. A rock-paper-scissors event from 1:00 p.m. and a prize-giving event of “Hakuba Happo Super Vertical Race” from 1:30 p.m. were also held.
