Fortunately, we had a sunny day with no winds on the last day of February. In Riesen Slalom Course, the beginning part was really in good condition with fine corn snow (*Lower part was in corn snow condition like in Spring). A man who gave me a greeting, “I always enjoy your reports!” also talked, “I will take the ski examination of the 2nd grade today!”

The groomed slopes of Usagidaira and Kurobishi were nicely firm and also in good condition with fine corn snow as well as Riesen Slalom Course. A couple who always come to Hakuba on every weekend (Photo) talked, “We always enjoy your reports! The weather is beautiful today. We are so happy!”

People who were taking the lesson of Hakuba Happo-one Ski School & Snowboard School talked, “We always check your reports! We will take this expert class hard today!” Also, the other instructor said, “Today, every slope is busy with people. Thanks to this good weekend, our ski school has got many bookings for lessons.”

In the groomed slope of Riesen Grat Course (Photo) which had a nicely firm slope, some parts were soft because of the snow shaven off by the edges. By the way, the line of people waiting for the ticket office reached even the road this mornin. When I came down to the bottom after reporting, the gondola station still had a long line.
