Happo-one / ◎370cm / Sunny2021.Feb.19

21021901_happoWe have the 4th bid snow period this season from Feb. 16 (Tue) to Feb. 19 (Fri), after Dec. 13 (Sun) to Dec. 20 (Sun), Dec. 30 (Wed) to Jan. 5 (Tue) and Jan. 8 (Fri) to Jan. 11 (Mon). We had a sunny day without winds this morning after a good snowfall. In Kurobishi, the fresh flat slopes were spreading out except for the groomed part along No. 2 Quad there.

Now, we cannot tell how deep the snow falling in these 24 hours is, but there was at least 30cm fluffy fresh snow on the surface. The deep powdery snow and fluffy feel were so exciting that people made shouts of joy everywhere. We appreciate you all for giving us greetings and cheers today!

As in Kurobishi, only the center part of Skyline Course was groomed and other off-piste areas were keeping fresh snow as they were. The snow condition remained good even when we skied down to the lower parts. In Sakka and Shirakaba, the nicely firm groomed slopes let us make turns comfortably as we wanted.

The groomed slope of Riesen Slalom Course was also in perfect condition with powdery snow. I saw people skiing and snowboarding at high speed one after another there. By the way, both the frozen trees in the ski area and the townscape in white snow were also beautiful.
