Gondola was stopped in the early morning by the strong wind in the upper area like yesterday. I had poor visibility due to the wind on the upper ungroomed run of Riesen, which was blanketed with about 20 cm of soft fresh snow. I then reached the groomed area and enjoyed gaining speed on the firm granular snow.

Gondola and Alpen Quad started service around 10:00 am and 10:50 am, respectively. Meanwhile, Grat Quad was stopped all day. The new snow was about 45 cm deep in Kurobishi and 30 cm deep in Usagidaira (pictured). The snow was firmly packed by the wind.
