Yesterday it snowed all day. However, the snow was not dense and the wind was still strong, so I was half wondering if snow had accumulated at the top of the ski area. Early in the morning, the snow and wind were completely settled, and Nakiyama Triple and Risen Quad started to move slightly behind schedule.
[Risen Slalom Course]
Panorama Course, where the snow has been pressed down to every corner, is in good condition with a feeling of powdered snow! Although it was slightly hard in places with artificial snow and strong wind, it was generally moderately firm and nice to ride. As the sun sometime shone in, I saw people sliding on speed one after another.

In addition to Risen and Panorama, many people entered the forest road course (photo) running zigzag on the north side of Panorama Course. Most of them are short cuts in the non-groomed snow area or sliding under Panorama Pair. However, since the amount of fresh snow was 5–15 cm, there was a sound of “grigging” where the edges hit the hard ground.

The gondola and Alpen Quad have been delayed for maintenance and safety checks due to a freeze on a part of the lift line, and their service has been delayed. Especially in the late Alpine Quad, there is a long line of people waiting for service. After this the Usagidaira Pair started moving, and visitors were heading to the upper slopes.
