Happo-one / ○190cm / Sunny & Cloudy2020.Feb.25

20022501_happoThe three-day holiday is over. We have only five days until February ends. The spring skiing season will start this Sunday, March 1 (Sun). One-day tickets will be JPY1,000 for elementary school students.

[Usagidaira Slope]

20022502_happoIt was a beautiful morning, although the weather forecast said it would be cloudy. The compacted snow was not powdery, not granular, but wet in Usaigidaira. I was able to ski smoothly over the wet snow. The compacted snow was neither powdery along Kurobishi No.2 Quad (pictured). However, it was firm, flat and great compared to the snow in Usagidaira.

[Kurobishi Slope]

20022503_happoThe compacted snow (pictured) was nice both in the central part of Skyline Course (pictured) and along Kurobishi No.2 Quad. The non-compacted snow area was a bit undulating but nice, too. I enjoyed carving turns in the firm snow, using ski edges.

[Skyline Course]

20022504_happoKitaone No.3 Slope was covered with fine granular snow. I enjoyed carving widely in the flat snow area as nobody was practicing pole planting. It gradually got cloudy, although the sun sometimes appeared.
