Happo-one / ◎225cm / Sunny & Cloudy2020.Feb.12
The sky in the west was clear, but there were many clouds in the sky in the east. There was no doubt that it was a calm skiing day, and the top ski area in the morning was a great success with visitors, climbers and backcountry people.
[Risen Grat]
Risen Grat of compacted snow is moderately soft powdery snow condition. I was able to repeat the turn comfortably. The skier’s left in the second half had moderately tight undulations in the non-compact snow area.
[Risen Grat]
The powdery snow was moderately tight along the Usagidaira southern route of the compaction snow (photo) and Kurobishi 2nd Quad. Sliding down all at once with the edge firmly applied, the middle to advanced riders turning with the Alpine Quad and Kurobishi 2nd Quad were noticeable.
[Usagidaira slope]
Medium to large sized bumps are tight along the Alpine Quad. The Risen Slalom course of compacted snow was moderately tight in the early to middle stages, and the final stage of the Usuba slope was harder. On the Shirakaba gelende, the area of snow between Risen and gondora foot station was also hard.
