Happo One / ◎230cm / Cloudy & Sunny2020.Feb.11

20021101_happoIt’s been really chilly and snowy since Feb, 1 (Sat). This is “HAKUBA”! It kept snowing all day yesterday but it calmed down at midnight. The wind was blowing hard in the upper part of Kurobishi and Usagidaira. It was snowy, foggy, and sunny, and the weather was unpredictable today.

20021102_happoOverall, the non-compacted fresh snow was about 30 cm deep along Kurobishi No.3 Pair. However, the snow was over 50 cm deep on bumps, affected by the wind, while it was only 15 cm deep in other points. Anyway, the fresh snow and powder snow was great. I heard people cheering with joy here and there.

20021103_happoSkyline Course was in good condition today. For example, I went to the western slope (pictured) by Rindo Corse. I enjoyed the floating sensation in the soft flat snow covered with 20~25 cm of fresh snow there.

20021104_happoThe soft powder snow was compacted along Kurobishi No.2 Quad, in the central part of Skyline, and in Kitaone No.3 Slope (pictured). We’ve got heavy snow on Feb, 6 (Thu), 8 (Sat) and 9 (Sun). There was sufficient snow even in the lower area.
