Happo One/ ◎220cm / Snowy & Sunny2020.Feb.09

20020901_happoWe’ve got heavy snow these three days! I enjoyed firm powder snow in Panorama Course before and after it was compacted. The western area was covered with 1 cm of fresh snow (pictured), while the eastern area was covered with 10~15 cm of fresh snow.

20020902_happoI went to Kurobishi Slope, taking Alpen Quad, which started working earlier than usual, before 8:15 a.m. The fresh snow was about 25 cm deep in the non-compacted area. I enjoyed skiing down, although I sometimes felt the bottom. Meanwhile, the fresh snow was about 15 cm deep in the compacted area (pictured). The soft powder snow was great.

20020903_happoThe fog started to clear up in Usagidaira, Kurobishi and Grat around 9:00 a.m. I could see the blue sky between clouds sometimes. The compacted snow was covered with about 15 cm of fresh snow in Usagidaira. It was soft in the upper part but hard in the middle and lower parts. By the way, Central Course opened at 11 a.m. today!
