It was pretty chilly in the morning due to radiative cooling. The compacted powder snow was firm on the southern side of Usagidaira Slope. My skis ran smoothly with edges digging into the snow deeply. There were some big hard bumps along Alpen Quad.
[Usagidaira Slope]
I slashed on the firm, compacted powder snow along Kurobishi No.2 Quad. There were few people until Skyline No.2 Pair started work at 8:40 a.m. I enjoyed gaining speed on the slope filled with corduroy patterns.
[Kurobishi Slope]
Skyline Course was crowded with people from Kitaone and Kurobishi Slope. Tracks of piste were replaced with ski tracks in the central part but the slope was flat, firm and nice. People were waiting in a line about 5 mins for Skyline No.2 Pair.
[Skyline Course]
The firmly compacted snow was smooth and nice on Kitraone No.3 Slope, although there were lots of ski tracks. It got warm around 9:30 with the strong sunshine. I was able to see Hakuba Sanzan in the west, although there were some thin clouds in the west.
