Happo-one / ○ 165cm / Cloudy2020.Jan.14

20011401_happoThick clouds hung in the west sky and the east sky was clear and soft sunlight had reached above the border.  When the Grat Quad started moving at 8:35a.m., which was earlier than the scheduled time, visitors came at once.  In the first half of Risen Grat, where fresh snow was about 10 cm on soft condensed snow, I slid comfortably.

20011402_happoLight fresh snow on the steep slope in the latter half of Risen Grad is 15 to 20 cm.  There was no stiffness in the undulation of the groundwork, and a comfortable floating feeling was obtained.  However, when a strong westward wind occasionally blew, there was a scene where the snow was rolled up and visibility was lost.

20011403_happoA visitor from Tokyo said, “I always watch. I take a week off and I’m skiing while staying at the inn I took care of at the Iwatake Student Conference in my college days.  Is the best! ”  The snow compaction route from the beginning to the south of Usahira was in a moderately tight powdery snow condition.

The slopes of mogul along the Alpen Quad were easy to challenge with the soft snow gathered on the turn.  By the way, the “FWQ Freeride Hakuba3 * 2020” competition, which started on Jan,12 (Sun), is being held on the northern slope of Urakuro.  I saw many players wearing bibs in the hall.
