The southern coastal cyclone passed northeast and became a winter type pressure arrangement, and dry snow fell on the upper ski area. In the first half (photo) of the Usagidaira slope, artificial snow on a large bump is crusted and the board is difficult to turn. A bush was scattered in the latter half of the small bump with fresh snow about 10 cm.
[Usagidaira Slope]
Perhaps the timing of the compaction was just before the opening, the fresh snow on the Kurobishi 2nd Quad lift where the powder snow was moderately tight was about 1 cm (comfortable to ride!). Gas was gone around 8:30am (Photo), but after about 10 minutes, it turned into a dense gas again. On the non-compacted snow part on the third pair lift side, fresh snow, which was “fluffy”, was piled up about 10 cm.
[Kurobishi Slope]
The gas diminished when I slid down to the panorama course. On the south side of the non-compact snow panorama course (pictured), fresh snow is about 7 cm on a moderately tight undulation. The northern snow compaction slope was moderately tightened, and it was easy for a fresh snow to slide on it for about 1 cm. Due to the artificial snow that occurs almost every day, the bush was only slightly seen early in the south.
[Panorama Course]
The trees in the middle ski area to the upper area turned white again with hoarfrost. The Lindou course (forest road course) that bypasses the panorama course has a flat ground + fresh snow 1-2 cm. In particular, the panorama course was very popular with foreign and Japanese beginners and intermediate visitors.
