The rain turned into snow while I went up the trail along Alpen Quad around 7:30 a.m., and the ground turned white around Usagidaria Pair, Kurobishi No.2 and Kurobishi No.3 Station. Riesen Glat, the upper area of Usagidaira and Kurobishi got slightly covered with snow too.

The first snowfall came eight days later than last year and 20 days later than the year before last when we had plenty of snow. Bushes were covered with rime this morning as it was windy last night (※although the wind had calmed) . The winter coldness and scene after a year made me excited.
