Happo One / ○290cm / Sunny2019.Apr.16

19041601_happoIt was a calm and great day for spring skiing & snowboarding! “I enjoy your reports. This is probably my 40th time to come to Happo this season. It’s already mid-April but the slope condition is much better than I have expected.”, two skiers from Osaka said.
[Riesen Grat Course]
19041602_happoUshiro Tateyama Mountain Range, such as Hakuba Sanzan and Mt. Goryu, stood against the blue sky. Many skiers/snowboarders were taking scenic photos with their cameras and smartphones before going down. The first half part of Risen Grat Course, which was covered with the compacted granular snow, was nicely firm. Meanwhile, the steep slope was getting loose and nice under the sunlight.
[Riesen Grat Course]
19041603_happoThe compacted area on the southern side of Usagidaira got loose as I went down. My skis ran smoothly and I saw advanced skiers/snowboarders going down with speed in the early morning. There were loose moguls along Alpen Quad, which were nice to try.
[Usagidiara Slope]
19041604_happoThe surface of the compacted Panorama Course contained moisture. By the way, the route from Riesen to Gondola Sanroku Station via the lower area of Shirakaba Slope is going to be closed on Apr.14 (Sun). Only a route from Riesen to Nakiyama Public Course is available to descend.
