A fine sky with a thin cloud. The strong winds at the top of the ski area delayed the start of the lifts, and the slopes of Usagidaira, Kurobishi, Riesen Grat and Skyline were opened at 9 a.m.. On the south side of Happo (pictured below), the wet snow had already loosened and had a creamy feeling.

In the morning, Risen was wet and nicely firm at the beginning. As I skied down, snow got softer and became very soft at Usuba. By the way, Happo Riesen Quad & Nakiyama 3 Triple will extend the operation period from April 7 to April 14!
[Riesen Slalom Course]
In Panorama Course, snow was nicely firm at the beginning and got softer as I skied down, and the skis were running well, so that I could make the turns comfortably. After this, the temperature rose further, and it became hot to wear a jacket.

Snow is still plenty of snow was remained on Nakiyama slope where artificial snowfall in the top season worked well. This morning snow was melted very soft but skis were running well. By the way, “Spring Festival 2019” will be held on Usagidaira Terrace on this weekend Apr. 7 (Sun). Ms. Aiko Uemura and Mr. Yuto Watabe are invited as special guests, and will hold talk shows, large lottery events where luxury prizes will be won, and rock-paper-scissors tournaments!
