OlympicⅡCourse, Central Course and Sakka Slope have been closed since yesterday. Only two routes are available for descending; Riesen→Shirakaba Slope→Gondola Sanroku Station and Riesen→Nakiyama Public Course. It was very chilly and snowy again last night like the night before. Trees in the upper area were all white this morning, covered with rime.

About 3 cm of light fresh snow from last night was mixed with granular snow and compacted on the southern side of Usagidaira Slope. “2019 Japan Para Alpine Skiing Memorial Competition for the 30th Anniversary of His Majesty the Emperor’s Accession to the Throne” is being held on the northern side of Panorama Course today and tomorrow. Panorama Course was well-compacted and nicely firm too. It was cool to see participants skiing down for warming-up.

Riesen Slalom Course was flat and not granular from top to bottom. There was no bush or bare part thanks to the latest artificial snowfall machine. The snow surface got wet as I entered into the access way to Shirakaba Slope, however, I enjoyed my way to Gondola Sanroku Station.
