Happo One / ◎300cm / Slightly Cloudy2019.Mar.17

19031701_happoThe blue sky spread in the early morning but thin clouds covered the sky from the west and soft sunlight was shining when the operation started. Although it was windless, I felt cold because of radiative cooling and the -30°C cold air in the altitude of 5000 meters.
[Kurobishi]
19031702_happoThe slope along Kurobishi Quad was groomed nicely firm and flat, and in powder snow condition. The edges were working very well and I could make turns easily. The groomed slope of the south of Usagidaira was not powder snow but not corn snow also, and I could ski comfortably.

19031703_happoToday was “Ski Children’s Day”, so I saw many families with small children. The north faced Skyline Course was nicely firm powder snow, same as Kurobisihi. By the way, the adventure powder area “OMUSUBI” has been ended the season because of bad conditions.

19031704_happoAs I slide down, snow changed to corn snow and groomed firm at the forest course of Kitaone. Olympic Course Ⅱ was in nicely firm corn snow condition. By the way, Sakka 2 Pair, Central Pair and Shirakaba 1 Pair will end the season, today, on Mar. 17. Sakka Kids Park will be also the last day of the season.
