Happo One / ◎260cm / Cloudy2019.Feb.09

19020901_happo“Good morning! We’ll practice every Day at Happo during the three-day weekend.”, members of Skiing Society in Kansai said. Many people arrived early as it was a three-day holiday and Asaichi Riesen was held over the weekend.

19020902_happoBy the way, the rime was fanntastic at the middle and upper area and the scenery from the starting area of Usagidaira was unusually beautiful. The slope was a bit hard, however, it gradually got soft as the snow shaved by edges covered it.

19020903_happoThe northfacing area along Kurobishi No.2 Quad was covered with powder snow. Thus, it was hard to believe that it was warm, rainy and windy at the beginning of this week. My ski edges cut into the snow well and I enjoyed gaining speed on the wide flat slope. I felt sliding down again and again.

19020904_happoSkyline Course was nicely firm too. By the way, light fresh snow lied about 10 cm deep on the non-compacted area. My skis ran well on Kitaone Rindo Course and Sakka Slope, which were flat and hard.
