It was warm in the first day of spring Feb.4, but returned to the cold February before one day passed. The trees in the ski area to the top were dyed with fog ice, and a light fresh snowfall that last night falled over the ski top area was accumulated about 5 cm. The dense gas that was taking first in the morning melted, and the blue sky started to appear.

The snowy surface that was melt once yesterday got settled, and the early stage of the snowy part of the Usagidaira was particularly firm. From the north-oriented Kurobishi 2nd quad (photo) to the middle of the Skyline Course, the fine snowflakes of the particles are tightened and firm.
