The weather was fine and yesterday but it got chilly snowed last night. Many people were waiting at Alpen Quad before open. Dry snow was falling and it was gloomy the lights of Usagidaira Terrace were lighten.

The new snow was less than I expected and about 25–30 cm. When I skied the steep slope along Kurobishi 3, I felt the bumps but I could enjoy the fluffy powder snow.

Unfortunately, Urakuro (right hand side of the picture) that opened from yesterday was close again this morning. Because of heavy snowfalls for last few days, shrubs of Kurobishi were hidden under the snow.

After that the upper part of ski area was covered with thick fog and visibility got low. The advanced riders went to the non-groomed area of Skyline Course, so the groomed area was not crowded this morning. Nicely firm slope continued from Skyline Course to forest course of Kitaone and Olympic Course Ⅱ and I could make turns easily.
