Happo One / ◎130cm / Snowy2018.Dec.29
Hakuba Happo One is now “all available (=over 80% available)” as Central Course, the lower area of Kitaone Course, Shirakaba Slope, Nakiyama・Puclic Course, Sakka Slope, and Kokusai Slope have opened! Meanwhile, Gondola, Kokusai No.1 Pair, and Sakki Kitaone Quad start operation at 7:30, 30 minutes earlier than usual, from today till Jan.3 (Thu).
[Skyline Course]
Moreover, Nakiyama No,3 Triple started working at 6:40 as Asaichi (early morning) Risen has started today. People headed for Panorama Course, while it was still dark. Panorama was firm and nice with about 3cm of fresh snow. By the way, fresh snow lied about 15 cm deep on the southern non-compacted area.
[Panorama Course]
It was snowing silently in the thick fog. There was about 30 cm of fresh snow from last night on the steep slope along Kurobishi No.3 Pair. I enjoyed soft powder snow, threading my way through trees, which were not buried yet. I heard people shouting for joy here and there.
[Kurobishi Slope]
The area along Kurobishi No.2 Quad and Skyline Course was also covered with “nicely firm, compacted powder snow + 5 cm of fresh snow”. Kitaone No.3 Slope, which is at a lower altitude than Kurobishi and Skyline, was also firm and nice with 2-3 cm fresh snow.
[Kitaone No,3 Slope]
