Happo One / △120cm/ Cloudy & Snowy2018.Dec.20
Great news! The amount of snow reached over 100cm and Usagidaira, Panorama and Kurobishi opened! Alpen Quad started operation 15 minutes later at 9:15 am this morning due to the delay of security check. It was snowy and windy from yesterday but it stopped temporarily around 8:30 am. After a while, it started snowing again around 9:30 am.
[Usagidaira Slope]
Fresh snow lied about 40cm deep at the non-compacted area along Alpen Quad. It was packed and heavy due to the high temperature and wind and I enjoyed a floating feeling as my skis did not sink in the snow. I heard people dropping and shouting for joy one after another.
[Usagidaira Slope]
Non-compacted steep slope of Usagidaira and Riesen was immediately filled with tracks. On the other hand, I enjoyed making turns at the southern compacted area of Usagidaira, which was nicely firm without any bush.
[Usagidaira Slope]
The area along Kurobishi No.2 Quad, which was available from today, was nicely hard. By the way, Kurobishi No.2 Quad sometimes worked at reduced speed because of a gust of wind blowing at Kurobishi and Usagidaira Slope.
