Happo One / △65cm / Clou& Sunny2018.Dec.18

18121801_happoWe had heavy snow from last night till this morning! Snow gradually settled and it was lightly falling around 8:30, when the Gondola started operation. After a while, clouds cleared and a soft sunlight came through.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
18121802_happoAbout 25 cm of soft fresh snow lied on the non-compacted snow on the skier’s left side of Riesen starting area. There were ups and downs on the firm course, however, I had no problem and enjoyed sliding in powder. Visitors looked excited and the area was immediately filled with tracks.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
18121803_happoThere was a thin layer of fresh snow on the compacted snow at the first part and I enjoyed making turns. The slope gradually got nicely firm as I went down the middle part, and it became hard when I reached Usuba Slope. I saw some snowballs, however, there was no problem in sliding.
[Riesen Slalom Course]
18121804_happoI did not find any bare part when I headed for Riesen Quad Station. About 10 cm of fresh snow was soft at the last area of Riesen, which indicated high temperature.
