“Finally” the cold weather arrived. Yesterday evening snow started to fall at the top of the ski area, this morning it snowed not only on the slope, but on the houses and cars around JR Hakuba station .  The snow on the Kitaone 3rd slope is about 3 cm. In addition, this season’s opening of HAPPO BANKS which is popular every season is 2019/2/2 (Sat) to 4/7 (Sunday).

The snow cover of the panorama course as of 8:30 is 3 to 4 cm, and it is small in consideration of the time since the beginning of snowing. However, the temperature did not go up during the day, and in the forecast, snow marks lined up since this evening until late night tomorrow, we can expect further snowing and covering.

Also, as the temperature below freezing was maintained, on the panoramic course and Riesen slalom course, the artificial snowmaker was keeping on moving. Not only natural snow but also artificial snow accumulation was interesting even though I thought that I would like to report tomorrow.
