“Mr. Daichi Hara’s Special Photo Session” was held at Usagidaira Slope from 11:20 a.m. It started by three mogul ski runs by him. Many people came around the course to catch a glimpse of the runs by the bronze medalist of Pyeongchang Winter Olympics freestyle mogul.

His run was speedy and much greater than I had expected. And he was showered with a grand applause. As his talk show started at Usagidaira Terrace, lots of people gathered in front of the stage, holding their cameras and smart phones. I felt his kindness when he moved his body with the medal when he showed it.

There was a question session as part of the talk show. People were asking questions one after another in a limited time. The last part of the event were the autograph and photo session for 100 people. He was writing autographs on various items, such as helmets and ski jackets.

At Happo, moguls at Kurobishi and Usagidaira are popular in the spring. There were deep moguls on both steep slopes and people were trying one after another. By the way, only the route from Riesen Slalom Course to Nakiyama or Shirakaba is available from today due to snow melting.
