We had an ideal day for riding with the blue sky. 2 people from Gifu Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!” In Riesen Grat, the central part was groomed and nicely firm. The slope was covered with 3cm fresh snow as well.

Because of the sunny weather, I climbed up to the top of the ski resort. There was a panoramic view of the sea of clouds in the south and great mountains in the north. 3 skiers from Gifu, Kyoto and Fukuoka Pref. greeted me, “Hello, Snownavi! We always enjoy your reports!” and then, dropped off to the runs.

It was cold well and snowy last night, so the condition of the groomed slopes of Riesen Grat, Usagidaira, Kurobishi and Skyline were getting better. Especially, the slope along Kurobishi No.2 Quad was so nice that I could ski with high speed comfortably.

The trees were frosted even in the middle part of the ski resort and it seemed like that the season went back. When I went down to the bottom area, Sakka, it was warmer. However, the snow did not get melted and the slope remained flat at 9:30 a.m. By the way, the off-piste areas were in difficult condition because there were icy bumps.
