It took long time to maintain the gondola and lifts because of yesterday’s rain, this morning. The gondola began working 15 minute late and Riesen Quad began 1 hour late. So I went to the top by Kokusai 1, which started on time.

The snow fluttered at Usagidaira and Panorama and the slopes were covered with thick fog. The wet snow was frozen last night, therefore, Panorama was hard. But the ski slope was entirely maintained and 2 cm of the fresh snow covered the foundation, and it was flat; so it was not bad condition to ski.

When I skied down, the visibility got better at the middle of Olympic Course Ⅱ. Non-groomed Olympic Course Ⅱ was almost flat, but it was in icy condition. Although there was 5 cm of the fresh snow, the edges were not working well and it was difficult to ski.

Groomed Sakka wasn’t very hard and it was in good condition to ski for me. According to the official announcement, the amount of the snowfall was 425 cm at the top and 115 cm at the bottom on Mar.3 (Sat). But the snow melted with high temperature and rain, so the amount was 390 cm at the top, and 100 cm at the bottom today.
