It was sunny from early morning and temperature was +2 degree at gondola summit station at 8:10 a.m. The wind was strong at the upper area like yesterday and Alpen Quad was not working. The visitors headed to Panorama Course or Risen Slalom Course without hesitation.

The wind was blowing from west and it was comfortable at Panorama Course. A brothers from Tokyo and Gifu Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your report! Red jacket is elder, same as Mario!” After taken the picture, they skied down beautifully on the flat & firm slope.

I could ski comfortably from the beginning to the middle of nicely firm groomed Risen Slalom. Usuba area at the last part was hard but it was in good condition. Nakiyama was also hard but the edges of skis were working well.

Today and tomorrow, ICI Sports New Model Ski Test-riding is being held at Nakiyama. There are 14 brands like K2, OGASAKA, NORDICA, SALOMON and many more and also 200 new models! Test-riding is available only in Nakiyama and 20-30 minutes per model. You can test ride new model skis at the cost of 1500 JPY per day.
