Happo-one / ◎405cm / Sunny2018.Feb.27
It was sunny but there are more clouds today than yesterday. Weak wind was blowing when I got off Alpen Quad but the area below that was calm and very comfortable. The visitors turn out slower than weekdays of last week, so fresh slope remained for a long time.
[Panorama Course]
The east faced groomed area of Usagidaira was firm. And there were artificial snow on the beginning of the course and the place in the picture (near side). I could ski with speed comfortably and many people were riding here using Alpen Quad many times.
[Usagidaira]
Lowering the elevation, snow of the north-east faced Panorama Course was more dry and soft than Usagidaira. It was good condition to ski. The edges of ski bit the flat snow surface and I could make turns as I imagined.
[Panorama Course]
The condition of the almost north faced Olympic Course Ⅱ was not changed from Panorama and nicely firm. By the way, “The 72nd Happo-one Riesen Slalom Competition” will be held on March 1 & 2 at Riesen Slalom Course. This is a traditional ski race in the total length of 2.5 km and there are categories of various generations for men & women.
