Risen Grat is now open and the area from the top to the bottom of ski area is available! The weather was against the forecast and it was snowing this morning. The sun shined lightly but strong wind was blowing and the fog covered the area sometimes. The new snow of 10-15 cm was light.

The test riding event of BLASTRACK and OGASAKA, was held in front of Usagidaira Terrace today and tomorrow. Two people from Osaka gave me the watchword and went to test skiing.

There were 20 skis of 9 models. They were 2017-18 season model and now on sale at the shops. You can enjoy the test ride for 30 minutes per ski for free (* Identity card is needed, available 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.). The test skiing of “LIBERTY” was also taking place next to it.

The test riding event of “ID one” was held at the south of Nakiyama. If you apply for the event in advance on the website, it will be 1,000 JPY , although it costs 1,500 JPY if you apply on the day (* Identity card is needed). There were plenty of ski models, 40 models and 43 skis, including 2018-19 season models (* Until Dec. 24, available 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., test ride 40-50 minutes per ski).
