It was sunny with the warm sunlight and no winds this morning. However, the temperature was low because of the radiative cooling in the early morning and the snow was in pretty good condition. During two days from tomorrow, test-riding event of brand new ski from Blastrack will be held in front of Usagidaira Terrace.

The south side of beautifully groomed Usagidaira had powdery snow which was moderately firm. It was actually in good condition so I found advanced people making excellent turns.

The area along Kurobishi No.2 Quad which was widely groomed was also in great condition. I found not only the advanced but also the beginners on this slope. The non groomed areas along Alpen Quad and No.3 Pair had bumps and they were pretty good to try.

Risen Slalom which is one of the most popular courses shortly got filled with ski tracks. However, thanks to the great quality of snow today, even though the slope got rough, it was still comfortable to ski. I found a bunch of tall bushes on the non-groomed area of the bottom part of Shirakaba, which reaches to the gondola base station.
