We had an ideal day for skiing & snowboarding. Yesterday, the lifts in the upper parts suspended the operations temporarily because of the gale at around 2:00 p.m, so the fresh snow fallen in the last afternoon remained as it was until this morning. There was about 20cm fresh snow in the ungroomed areas of Kurobishi and Usagidaira and we could enjoy powder runs fully there!

The beautiful corduroy patterns spread out along Kurobishi No.2 Quad and in the south part of Usagidaira and the slopes were nicely firm. The edges of my skis worked well, so I could make turns comfortably. A man from Tokyo who comes to Hakuba every weekend gave me the watchword, “I check your website every every day!!”

The groomed slope of Skyline Course was also nicely firm. Besides, the ungroomed areas on the both sides had 15－20cm deep snow and I saw people making snow spray everywhere. It was hardly blowing a wind and we had the warm sunlight, so I did not feel cold.

Today, Sakka No.2 Pair started the operation and “Sakka No.2 Pair Limited 1-Day Pass (Adult JPY1,500, Child JPY1,000)” has been on sale! Olympic Course Ⅱ and the steep slopes of Kitaone Course were also open, so over 80% of the ski area has been open now!!
