The sun was shining weakly and it wasn’t too cold; the temperature was 0 degree. It was mild and comfortable in this morning. Both Gondola and Alpen Quad Lift started the operation on time. Many visitors skied down Usagidaira one after another.

The snow was like ice because of the snow canon at the upper part of the groomed area in Usagidaira. After we passed through the icy part, the snow was moderately firm until Usagidaira Terrace. The condition was so good that the visitors skied the area many times. Therefore, the slope was covered with soft snow, which scraped by the edges of the skies.

Kurobishi was also groomed moderately firm. People could enjoy their own skiing in the wide course: tried the big turn, skied fast at the empty area, took lessons and so on. Around 9:30 a.m., the gray clouds were coming from the west, and it was tending to be cloudy.

At last, after the inspection and the maintenance, Skyline Course was open at 9:50 a.m.! In total, 4 slopes are available in Hakuba Happo-one. You can enjoy the long run over 3 km from Kurobishi.
