We were favored with a calm sunny day. The number of people who come riding have been increasing in this long holiday. Today, the ski area was already crowded at around 9:00 a.m. While the groomed slope along Kurobishi No.2 Pair was nicely soft and flat, the groomed slope of Usagidaira was very soft and the edges of skis went into the snow deeply.

In the last season, Skyline was closed on Apr. 27 (Wed), but in this year, the snow was still much enough and it looked to remain until May 7 (Sun), the last operation day. I met 2 people from Osaka and Hyogo Pref. and they said they would enjoy skiing from Apr. 29 (Sat) to May 5 (Fri).

The ungroomed slopes along Alpen Quad and Kurobishi No.3 were covered with slushy corn-snow bumps. In Reisen Grat, the slope along Grat Quad was groomed and the north side was not. There were 4 lanes of bumps in the ungroomed area.

3 people from Kansai region are great fans of Happo and they told me they has come skiing every week! By the way, the ski area report of Happo finishes today in this winter. Thank you very much for all people who gave us warm cheers. The ski area will be open until May 7 (Sun), so please come and enjoy riding!!
