It was a nice and warm morning. The weather turned bad yesterday afternoon and it snowed; there were about 10 cm fresh snow in front of Usagidaira Terrace at 8 a.m. The groomed slope of South of Usagidaira was nicely firm and covered with 5 cm fresh snow but it was damp already.

4-6 cm fresh snow of the north faced slope along Kurobishi Quad was drier than Usagidaira. The run under fresh snow was nicely firm and it was easy to ski. A family from Okayama Pref. gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your report!” They said that they were enjoying skiing from April 1 and today was final day.

There were already many ski tracks on the run of Panorama Course at 9 a.m. The visitors turn out fast even after April 3 (Mon.) and first an hour after open of Riesen and Panorama were best time to ski. The groomed slope was covered with 2 cm wet fresh snow but I could make turns comfortably.

You can skied down from Olympic Course 2 to Shirakaba pass through bottom of Kokusai; you can take the gondola same as Risen and Central. Though this area was sunny, there were plenty of snow this season. But the snow was slushy and it made me slow down.
