We could see the sea of clouds from the top of the ski area. People from Tokyo gave me the watchword, “We always enjoy your reports!!” We had a calm fine day and there were many people who climbing up for backcountry skiing and winter mountaineering.

The upper part of Riesen Grat was in corn snow condition and nicely firm. There were bumps on the skier’s right of the lower steep slope and the slope on the skier’s left was flat. The slope was nicely firm and covered with 5cm fresh snow.

The groomed slopes in the south part of Usagidaira and along Kurobishi No.2 Quad were firm well and covered with 1cm fresh snow. They were in so nice condition that I could make turns as I imagined. The ungroomed areas along Alpen Quad and Kurobishi No.3 Pair were covered with deep bumps.

I could ski comfortably in Panorama Course as well. Central Course has not been groomed since Mar. 21 (Tue) and there were bumps in this morning. However, the snow was melting, so we could try there easily.
