The snow that has been falling for a while was stopped and the sun was shining through the breaks in the clouds sometimes. Alpen Quad was opened 15 minutes behind schedule because of the course check. The run along Kurobishi No.3 was flattened by the strong wind and I could enjoy about 30 cm fluffy powder snow!

The groomed slope along Kurobishi Quad was nicely firm and in a powdery condition. Sometimes fog covered the area but it didn’t disturb skiing and I could make turns as I imagined. 3 people from Aichi Pref. and Gifu Pref. gave me the wathchword, “We always enjoy your reports!”.

“17-18 GENTEMSTICK NEW MODEL DEMO TOUR” (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.), test riding of new model of a snowboard brand “GENTEMSTICK”, is holding at HAPPO BANKS for today and tomorrow. At sametime sessions by the riders of GENTEMSTICK is also holding. Participate for test riding is free, the rider session is 60 minutes 4000JPY. The slopes from Skyline Course to the course through the forest of Kitaone were also nicely firm powdery condition. The slope of Sakka, at the bottom of the ski area, snow surface was started to melt due to warm sunshine. But my skis were running well and I could ski with speed comfortably.
