It had been snowing heavily from the last night. The fresh snow was much more than we expected and it was very fluffy!! There was 20cm deep snow on the groomed area of Panorama Course. There was 30cm fresh snow in Usagidaira, but Alpen Quad was closed in this morning because of the strong wind and avalanche control.

In Panorama Course, the snow spray was raised every time I turned. However, it was warm, 0 degree, in the lower areas, so the snow was damp in Central Course.

Central Course was groomed and hard. Some parts were also icy, but the snowfall was 15cm. The fresh snow was a little heavy, but I could enjoy the soft feeling fully, thanks to the flat slope.

The groomed slope of Shirakaba was nicely firm and covered with 10cm fresh snow. The trees were dyed white by the snow and the wintry view came back again. By the way, as of 11:00 a.m, the gondola and the lifts in Riesen Grat, Usagidaira, Kurobishi, Skyline, Panorama are closed because it was blowing a strong wind.
