Today, we had a heavy snowfall and the amount of the fresh snow was over 30cm in the ungroomed areas. However, the temperature was not so low and the snow was damp, so it was a little difficult to turn in the steep slope along Kurobishi No.3 Pair.

The groomed slopes along Kurobishi No.2 Quad, the south area of Usagidaira, the central part of Skyline were bumpy and we could not speed up easily. The thick fog made the visibility poor as well.

By the way, all of the lifts suspended the operations in this morning because of the thunderclouds. Nakiyama No.2 Pair and Sakka No.2 Pair were open at 9:30 a.m. After that, Nakiyama No.3 Triple, Riesen Quad, the gondola, Shirakaba No.1 Pair, No.2 Pair, Kokusai No.1 Pair, No.3 Pair and Sakka No.3 Triple started the operations. It was snowing this morning in the mountain foot, but it got raining around the noon.

Happo Information Center is getting more and more convenient for the tourists from abroad and it offers free Wi-Fi and you can withdraw Japanese money at Hachijuni Bank ATM. There are also English staffs officially recognized by JNTO and they will show about Hakuba well.
