A man from Tokyo said with smile, “I always check the website! I skied at Nomugi-toge yesterday, but today I came to Happo to ski the powder snow.” At the bottom the wind didn’t blow, but when I took off the gondola the strong wind was blowing and the lifts of the upper area, including Alpen Quad, were delayed.
[Panorama Course]
The groomed run of Panorama Course was nicely firm and covered with about 5 cm dry fresh snow. It was very comfortable to ski there. The non-groomed area on the way to Central Course was covered with 25 cm fresh snow. It was a little heavy but I could enjoy the fluffy powder snow.
[Olympic Course 1]
There were 20~25cm fresh snow on Olympic Course 1. The run under the fresh snow was soft and it was fun to ski the powder snow. The central part of the course was groomed and covered with 10-15cm fresh snow.

Kokusai, at the bottom part of ski area, has the undulation and it is one of most difficult steep slopes. The 20 cm fresh snow covered the hard and bumpy run and it was in a challenging condition. The softly groomed run of Shirakaba was covered with 5 cm fresh snow and it was easy to repeat the turns.
