The weather was mild in the village with soft sun lights this morning. In the middle and the upper parts of the ski area, however, the wind was so strong that the snow was blown up from the ground. Most of the lifts in the upper part stopped the operation. A man said, “I am very sorry for this condition as I took a day off today.”

Therefore, Olympic Course 1 and 2 were crowded with skiers and snowboarders. The snow was groomed well on Olympic Course 2, so I could enjoy making turns with speed.

The snow was in a good powdery condition on the groomed slope in Sakka. Not only beginners but also experts and ski instructors were practicing there.

There’re a variety of food and drinks, such as Happo Burger, in Snow Plaza Sakka. Why don’t you try gelato with a flavor of framboise (raspberry), Hokkaido cream cheese, pistachio and so on (single 350 JPY and double 400 JPY).
