The first early morning operation in this winter was held!! As you can see, Nakiyama No.3 Triple was very crowded with people already even at around 6:30 a.m. After that, Nakiyama No.3 Triple was open at 6:45 a.m. and Riesen Quad as well.

Although it started to snow lightly as soon as the ski area was open, we could see the beautiful morning glow at 7:00 a.m. when I climbed up to Riesen Slalom. A couple from Osaka greeted me there. After taking photos, they skied down smoothly the slope illuminated by the sunlight.

As might have been expected, the condition of snow was fine thanks to the low temperature in the early morning. All of the slope of Riesen Slalom was groomed and the beginning part was nicely soft. Today, a lot of experts showed their skillful turns with high speed.

The lower part was firm well and good to ski as well. Early Morning Operation will be held on every Sunday (Jan. 29, Feb. 5, Feb. 12). By the way, “URAKURO”, an expert course along Kurobishi No.3 with the 31° steep slope at the maximum, is open today!!
